Nissan Motor India, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Japan’s Nissan Motor, has launched a special edition of its mid-sized sedan Sunny in the country.
The special edition has been launched to boost the sedan’s appeal among Indian customers and has enhanced interior and exterior features, the company said in a statement.
“Sunny has been a success in India since its launch in September 2011 and the car continues to be a popular choice amongst customers in the mid-sized sedan segment,” Nitish Tipnis, Director (Sales and Marketing) of Nissan’s national sales company in India — Hover Automotive India — said.
The special edition is being launched in both the petrol and diesel variants. It has special body side mouldings and chrome-plated trunk detailing, apart from a rear view parking camera and other features.
