Now India has a brand new massive warship, too

Should we be worried that just days after Japan unveiled its giant warship, the Izumo, India has launched its own massive aircraft carrier? Dressed up in colorful flags and miles of streamers, the INS Vikrant might not look threatening, but this 40,000-ton vessel is nothing to sneer at. MiG-29K combat jets can take flight from this baby's take-off strips, and it's got the capability to launch more than 30 aircraft and helicopters. When completed, it will measure in at 850 feet long and 196 feet wide. But it won't officially join the Indian navy until 2018; until then, India will have to be satisfied with the atomic reactor it launched for its ballistic missile nuclear submarine over the weekend.
