Japan-based Dentsu partners Taproot India for majority stake acquisition


 Japan-based advertising company Dentsu Inc has collaborated with Taproot India Communication for buying majority stake in the Mumbai-based firm. Dentsu will purchase 51% stake in Taproot. 

Dentsu said, “Partnering with Dentsu will enable Taproot India to offer a more comprehensive bouquet of services to their clients and across larger market geographies.”

Taproot will be continuing to run independently under the management control of its present leadership.
Taproot India Co-Founder and Chief Creative Officer Agnello Dias said, “With Dentsu as our partner we feel we can scale up several areas of our operations very quickly without losing what has been working for us so far.”
