Japanese students visit Indian parliament

A group of Japanese students Monday paid a visit to Parliament House and also met BJP leader Tarun Vijay who stressed the need for more interaction between the youth of India and Japan.

The six students, who were visiting the Indian parliament on an invitation by the Bharatiya Janata Party leader, however could not get to see the proceedings of the upper house as it got adjourned for the day.
Vijay, addressing the six students in the building, said: "The youth of India and Japan must come closer. Both our countries have close civilizational links and we are trusted friends, but the connection between the youth of the two nations is very low."


The students, including one who has learned the Indian dance forms of Bharatnatyam and Odissi, were all very happy to be in india and all of them said they loved Indian culture, food, movies and Bollywood dances.
