Sony Xperia Z: Five things you need to know


To revamp its falling smartphone market, Sony launched the Xperia Z in India priced at Rs 38,990.

The smartphone went on sale in Japan in February and is now available in 60 countries.

In the mobile and technology world of smartphones dominated by Samsung and Apple, Sony hopes that its Xperia series would give a tough competition for the top post.

So, will the Sony Xperia Z be able to stand and leave a mark in the market? Only time will be able to tell that. However, here are lists of five interesting features of the phone that you need to know.

Processor: 1.5 GHz Quad-core Krait processor. It also uses a Snapdragon APQ8064 S4 Pro chipset, which is the fastest to currently power an Android phone.

Memory:A 16GB internal memory expandable with a microSD card.

Good music system:Sony has improved on the walkman music. Some features include ClearAudio+ option, surround sound mode, clear stereo mode and xLOUD enhances the loudness of the internal speaker.
