Pigeon brand gets chosen as a POWERBRAND 2012 by the Indian Consumer. Power Brands India enlists the top 100 of the Most Powerful Brands of India. The parameters have been based on the High Recall Value and other factors such as the Brand Following and the Brand Connect, garnered through various marketing activities conducted by organizations to promote their Brand.
Pigeon was founded in Japan in 1957 by Yuichi Nakata with the aim of meeting the needs of mothers worldwide by producing a range of high quality, durable and user-friendly merchandise for babies and toddlers.

Since it began, the company has grown steadily with a strong brand presence in more than 70 countries, with subsidiaries in Singapore, China, US, Malaysia and India.
