2014 Honda
Fit is expected to make its way into Japan this September. The new
model will be seen with major modifications, both where external design
and internal makeup is concerned. Honda pulled the plug on Jazz
production back in February. However, it’s not altogether gone from the
country and is expected back in 2014.
Despite enjoying popularity here, the car had to be taken off production as Honda
needed to concert all efforts into the Amaze sedan, their first diesel
car for India. With production capacity to be extended next year, Honda
India will be in a better position to launch the 2014 Honda Jazz yet
again. Increased localisation will ensure a competitive price. To sport an aggressive front bumper and angular head lights, there will
be a grille up front in a brand new design, while Fit will also sport a
ventilated rear bumper and tail lights much the same as those seen on
the Volvo. Cabin
has been spruced up with high quality materials while rear cabin space
is at a premium with occupants getting a good 65mm additional legroom.
